What haunts us long after every story ends?


Whether written for the page, stage, screen, my work explores inheritance, place, identity, and the strange beauty found in ordinary lives. Rooted in the folklore and landscapes of the Ozarks and Appalachia, these stories move across genres while remaining grounded in the people and places that shaped them.

    A hybrid poetry memoir collection exploring the visceral nature of womanhood, hunger, grief, class, desire and survival in the American South. The collection features 45 original poems and 7 personal essays.

    A collection of 7 new fairytales. These dark tales are full of hunger, violence and are deeply rooted in Appalachian and Ozark mythologies.
